Head to Head challenge of group 8 contestants took place at the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. This is the last episode in Zhuhai, after which the girls of the remaining groups will face their head to head challenge in Sanya city. The delegates of Group 8 faced the final question, “What has been the world’s greatest invention and why?”

This group of contestants are real pleasures. They know how to speak well and present themselves elegantly. Nevertheless, we have our favourites. Let’s have a look!

There’s just one word for Laanya Ezra Asogan from Singapore. Wow! This queen surprised us with her eloquent communication skills, a nice sporty attitude and a beautiful smile. She came across as a simple girl in her video and her love for family and life is just inspiring. She gave a confident final answer –

“I’d say smart phones because essentially they have changed everyone’s life, they have connected people, and it’s brought society all -together and we have everything in the tips of our hands, fingers actually. (She laughs)  Thank you!”

Enkhjin Tseveendash from Mongolia was a breath of fresh air in this group with her beauty and poise. She showed her culture and beauty of Mongolia brilliantly in her video. The best part was listening to her father’s inspiring story about climbing the Mount Everest twice without an oxygen mask. Her final answer was also quite notable –

“As I’m a person who loves to travel with different people, I would say the invention of oil and investigation of horses. As it gives freedom to travel to people and without transportation we wouldn’t be able to travel as fast as you can now. So I’m very grateful for that.”

Group 8 (Kenya, Ireland, Russia, Cyprus, Mongolia, Singapore) Head to Head Challenge for Miss World 2017

What an unconventional beauty Polina Popova from Russia is! A very strong contender in this year’s Miss World, she has the attitude, confidence, superb speaking skills and she knows what she is doing. Her video could have been better but she covered it all with her lovely attitude in the question & answer segment. Her well thought out answer was –

“Thank you. I would say language because it’s the best way to communicate with people. I love to travel and it’s great that we meet different people around the world, make friends everywhere, that is the best part probably. I am very happy that we have languages and it’s great.”

We have to say Helena Tselepi from Cyprus came out with the best video out of all. Her video was full of picturesque visuals and her attitude was just right in that. Lauren McDonagh from Ireland looks really pretty and her confidence can be seen in this competition quite prominently. Magline Jeruto Miss World Kenya 2017 deserves a special mention for her empathy towards humanitarian causes. Through her final answer, she talked about the ‘sign language’ being the greatest invention of mankind.
