Hayfa Ghedir from Béja crowned Miss Tunisie 2017

At the conclusion of the gala finale of Miss Tunisie 2017 (Miss Tunisia 2017) for selecting Tunisia's representative for Miss World 2018, Hayfa Ghedir from Béja was crowned as the winner. She will now represent Tunisia in the Miss World 2018 pageant slated to be held next year. Hayfa succeeds the reigning queen Miss Tunisie 2016 Emna Abdelhedi.

Hailing from Béja, the young queen defeated 15 other contenders with her charisma, attitude and intelligence to win the title. Hayfa is 23 year of age and is an English teacher, translator and student of journalism.

The finale of Miss Tunisia was held at Théâtre Municipal de Tunis on 8th October 2017, which had sixteen Tunisian beauties competing for the crown. The beautiful winner along with other finalists had to go through extensive training involving singing lessons, dance lessons, sports, the art of living, and much more before they graced the stage of Miss Tunisia 2017 finale.

Amal Dachraoui, Miss Bizerte, was declared as the first runner-up, while Dorsaf Zouaghi, Miss Sfax finished as the second runner-up.

Tunisia has never won any Miss World title so far. Can Hayfa make her country proud this time?
