Ilssen Olmos Ferrufino who was designated the title of Miss Tierra Bolivia 2018 aka Miss Earth Bolivia 2018 had to give up her title due to lack to meeting the age requirement set by the Miss Earth Organization. The 27-year-old model and actress was refused participation in the international pageant as she did not come under the required age bracket of 18-25 years.
Ilssen will now represent Bolivia at the upcoming Miss Supranational 2018 as revealed by Promociones Glora, who has the rights to send Bolivia at Major International pageants. Ilssen is a telecommunication engineer from the Technical University in Chile, who also happens to be a MBA from the University of Chile. She stands 175 cm tall and is affluent in five languages namely Spanish, French, English, Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese.

The social media handle of Miss Bolivia Club, one of the most famous sources of Bolivia pageant information, also revealed the news stating, “change of contest! Ilssen Olmos of 27 years, who was designated by PG as Miss Bolivia Tierra 2018 does not go to Miss Earth 2018 to be held in the Philippines. The reasons for not participating in the contest is for not meeting the age limit (of 25 years), which International organization did not accept her as an Official candidate, with the preparation underway and the desire to take the name of Bolivia in an international contest now she will be our representative to the Miss Supranational that will be held in Poland in the month of December.”
