Miss Universe Malaysia is the annual national beauty pageant of Malaysia that selects representative for Miss Universe international pageant. The vision of the pageant organization is to transform pageants in Malaysia to be 'HIP. URBAN. RELEVANT. REAL'. Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 also referred to as The Next Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 is scheduled to be held on March 11, 2015. This year, there are a total of 17 beauties competing for the title. Let us introduce you to the contestants of Miss Universe Malaysia.
Going alphabetically, the first contestant on the list is, Amanda Khong Pui Mun. Amanda is a marketing graduate and an internet entrepreneur who co-founded an online fashion magazine at the age of 20. She follows the mantra of healthy living through exercise and a balanced diet. Amanda loves to cook and enjoys baking and likes to run in the marathons. Amanda is a hardcore fashion and food lover and hopes to own her own fashion label and café someday.
Next contestant on Miss Universe Malaysia is April Tang. April is a multi tasker, who is a secretary by day and DJ by night. She enjoys all kinds of music and has also performed at international gigs. As an animal lover, April dreams of opening a pet cafe. She preaches the ideology of going green and cares about the global environment and practices reduce, reuse, and recycle at home. April describes herself as a funny, happy go lucky and playful person.
Next on line is Ashley Ahn. With a Malaysian-Korean background, Ashley is fluent in four languages including Korean and Mandarin. Ashley is an aspiring TV host and currently, is pursuing a career as a writer for a production house. She plans to establish a career in entertainment, and dreams of becoming an F&B entrepreneur someday. She is a self professed make up hoarder, who is passionate about art and beauty, and loves dance and photography in her free time.
Coming to our next contestant, we would like to introduce you to Gloria Tneh. Gloria is a second year law degree student and a part-time barista. Gloria is a food lover and a globetrotter. She spends her spare time cooking, travelling and practicing her skills in latte art. Gloria was a member of her marching band in school and excels in playing violin and trumpet. Passionate about helping animals, Gloria volunteers in animal shelters in her free time.
Next we present to you Jasveer Sandhu. Jasveer is a nurse in a government hospital, and is passionate about helping people. She wants to establish a career in the medical or health-related industry as her long term plan. Her hobbies are singing, dancing and travelling. Equipped with a number of beauty pageant experience, Jasveer enjoys learning about fashion and beauty to improve herself. She is a dreamer and aspires of becoming a TV anchor and hopes to be a role model for guiding and inspiring women someday.
Next contestant on line is, Jenny Wong. Born of Chinese- Indian descent, Jenny is fluent in multiple languages including Mandarin and Tamil. She is a Mandarin home tutor for kids and is currently pursuing her diploma in childhood education. Jenny is a freelance model, who describes herself as a humble, happy and bubbly person. Jenny enjoys travelling, singing and belly dancing. She was brought up in a single parent family and aspires to become a lawyer to help single mothers.
