The reigning Miss Universe, Iris Mittenaere is in Ecuador for various humanitarian works and projects. She spent a day with children affected by the floods of winter 2017, at the home of Teresa Farah de Aurea, president of the Ecuadorian Red Cross Nucleus Guayas.
Iris stressed the significance of children being educated and above all happy in their homes. Mily Diaz, a girl from the La Chotilla parish of the carton Milagro uttered to Mittenaere, with a cute hug, that she was thankful for her presence in the country.
Mittenaere said that she has visited Ecuador first time and that she wants to taste the typical Ecuadorian food. “I have been told a lot about their rich gastronomy like bananas and shrimp,” she added.
Mittenaere was received by María Del Carmen de Aguayo, Director of the Miss Ecuador. In the afternoon she will travel to the capital of Orense to participate in the night in a charity parade. She also attended a breakfast for those affected, organized by the Ecuadorian Red Cross Provincial Board of Guayas itself, where she shared her experiences with those present and received gifts as well.
The beauty recently graced the red carpet of Cannes as well and sizzled in a green coloured gown and mesmerized everyone with her magic. She has been fulfilling all her duties as a true beauty queen and does it with pure love and determination. The recent visit shows how caring and considerate she is as Miss Universe. She is setting an example for the upcoming beauties to make the best use of their powers.
