As the new year for beauty pageants is about to commence amidst all the regional competitions being held, John Sotima, is one of the names emerging as a potential delegate this year for the title of Miss Universe Cambodia 2022. The diva is making into wishlists as she is definitely a strong choice to represent the country at the international platform.

21 year old Sotima, competed in Miss Universe Cambodia 2019 with such sincerity and dedication that she placed as the second runner-up at the end of the event finale. She was also crowned as Miss Tourism Cambodia 2019 and represented the country at Miss Tourism International 2019, where she was awarded as Dreamgirl of the Year International 2019/20.

John has definitely proven to be an ideal contender to represent the country with her experience in the pageantry, both nationally and internationally. She holds her crown with utmost pride and dedication, two qualities that make her a remarkable beauty queen.

Having a strong following on her social media, Sotima never fails to spread positivity through the platform. Being a hard working woman, Sotima always believes in the power of pushing forward and can do wonders with the reigning title in the future as well.

Earlier this year, Miss Universe Cambodia 2021 Ngin Marady represented the country at the international platform. Despite of a strong delegation and a highly appreciated performance throughout the journey, Ngin was unable to qualify as a semifinalist and finished unplaced.

While we await to meet our new queens for this session, many potential names have got the pageant fanatics charged up for another exciting edition. After a successful edition in Israel in December this year, Miss Universe is gearing for its next edition. If rumors are to be believed, the 71st edition of Miss Universe will be held in La Ville–Lumière, France later next year.
