Will Maria Isabela Galeria make a comeback for Miss Universe Philippines 2022?

After Philippines’ yet another successful top placement at the recently held Miss Universe 2021 pageant, the country and pageant fanatics now await a new queen who will be uplifting and raising the bars for the country as Miss Universe Philippines 2022. While many wishlists have been prepared, one name that has been a constant among all is of Maria Isabela Galeria.

The talk of the town is whether we will get to witness the much awaited comeback from the diva this year. The stunning beauty represented Sorsogon at the debut edition of Miss Universe Philippines and was also a part of Binibining Pilipinas 2019. At the national contest, she placed in the Top 15 winning everyone’s hearts and it is not hard to say that the diva has transformed as a much stronger and potential choice for representing the country at an international platform like Miss Universe.



With a dream of helping the general public of her state with their struggles and grievances to gain access to basic health care, Maria made a promise to herself to join the medical services. She took admission in medical college and graduated at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Centre with a degree in Nursing and now is a registered nurse. Her services have also helped a lot of people during these times of pandemic where countless people are suffering all around the world.

Apart from this, Maria, just at the age of 14, wrote a Wattpad novel called “Wrong Number” which later got adapted into a mini-series by TV5. An incredible storyteller, Maria showed her creative side and honed her skills since a young age. The stunning Filipina beauty also engages in Philanthropic activities as is a supporter of creative freedom and innovation and believes in the hard work, integrity and the talent of Filipinos.



She has always been a favourite in the national pageants and highly appreciated for her performances and consistency. Maria will definitely be an ideal candidate to take forward the legacy of Philippines, producing some of the best beauty queens in the history of pageantry.
