Josephine Bomele who was declared as the Miss Earth Congo 2015 as announced on the official Facebook page of Miss Earth Dr Congo, has been dethroned. Jessica Ekyla has now replaced Josephine and has been crowned as the new Miss Earth Congo 2015. The news was confirmed by another official announcement by the page which goes as –
“Dear fans,
As of July 28, 2015 Josephine Bomele have been dethroned as the Miss Earth Congo 2015 because she is not competence to perform. And so she has been replaced by our new fierce queen, Miss Earth Congo 2015, Jessica Ekyla.

It seems like dethronement is now trending up fast in beauty pageants, as off late we have been hearing about too many of them. The organisation Miss Earth Dr Congo also apologised for the sudden changes and also listed out their reasons for doing so on their Facebook page. The organisation head Ms. Mukon Ngoyi and the team wanted someone who will best represent both the Congo nations, when it comes to beauty and intellect. The organisation also mentioned how Josephine was falling short of fulfilling her duties which included rehearsing for the grand pageant and also dealing with environmental and other project related issues.
