The Miss Virginia USA organisation hosted the coronation ceremony for the title of Miss Virginia USA 2022 on 16th April 2022 at Merchant Hall, Hylton Performing Arts Center, Manassas, Virginia, United States. At the end of the event, Kailee Horvath triumphed as Miss Virginia USA 2022 by besting twenty-four other candidates. She will now represent Virginia at Miss USA 2022.

The 23-year-old hails from Ashburn, Virginia and studied nursing at Marymount University in Arlington. Currently an instructor at POPCYCLE, the diva previously worked as a firefighter with Ashburn Volunteer Fire Rescue Department.

Horvath is tenacious and not new to the pageant world. She holds the title of Miss Central Virginia Teen USA 2016, and was first runner up at Miss Virginia Teen USA 2018 and Miss Virginia USA 2020. When she competed at Miss Virginia Teen USA 2017, she won the Miss Congeniality award and finished in the Top 12. Past year, she was the fourth runner up at Miss Virginia USA 2021.

Miss Virginia USA 2022 Kailee Horvath’s court included –

1st runner up – Lizelle Saah

2nd runner up – Sarah Miranda

3rd runner up – Alexis Ramsey

4th runner up – Erin Houston

After winning the crown, Horvath stated, “I’m going to Miss USA!! This is a moment I have been dreaming about for years. I am absolutely humbled and honored to have been chosen to represent Virginia amongst so many incredible women. It sill hasn’t sunk in, but I’m not sure it ever will.”

“To Hannah - my new little sister! I can’t wait to share this year with you. To all of my friends and family that were in the audience and watching online - I am so grateful for your endless love and support over the years. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you all. Virginia, I hope I can make you proud this year,” she further added.

Also, at the finale, representative for the title of Miss Virginia Teen USA 2022 was chosen. Hannah Grau of Fredericksburg city won the title.
