Kimberly Budinsky was crowned as Miss Earth Austria 2016 at the culmination of an outstanding finale of Miss Austria 2016. The reigning Miss Earth Austria Sophie Totzauer passed her reign and crown to her successor Kimberly Budinsky.

Kimberly Budinsky is a very self motivated girl and believes that, nothing is impossible When you really want to accomplish your goals, just put love and commitment in what you do and positive attitude you will see That you'll soon catch you desire.

It was Kimberly’s childhood dream to become either a vet or a singer or an actress or a model. She always loved being on stage and is also an animal lover. Kimberly also took singing lessons and competed in national swimming championships.

Kimberly’s leisure time was often spent in the nature with her grandma who taught her a lot about plants and trees in our garden, and she still knows which tree is where and for how long it has been there.

One lesson that she learnt was while growing up in such an international environment was to accept every human as they are – and not making a difference between anybody. Through working hard and being very ambitious, she learned that no matter what, you can reach any goal if you’re truly dedicated to it and work hard enough.

Kimberly thinks her move to New York by herself to study acting for a year was the most unusual thing she has ever done. That move also taught and showed her that working internationally is really something that she would love to do.

Being crowned as Miss Earth Austria was always her biggest dream since the time she started to learn about the different Beauty Pageants. Kimberly has always wanted to have the possibility to be able to make a change. Help others and do something for her planet.

Kimberly wishes to grow the awareness of climate change for future generations! She thinks climate change is possibly the greatest threat to mankind and she thinks think people take it serious enough.

Kimberly wants to promote her city. She feels Vienna, her capital, is such a beautiful place to enjoy culture and the arts and one can enjoy every season at its best here.

Kimberly is a very ambitious, art-loving, warm-hearted, positive thinking person. Waking up everyday knowing that her way is leading her to something that is pure fun, pleasure and fulfillment is more than she could have ever asked for.

Everything that is happening at Miss Earth 2016 combines the things she has always wanted to work for and that bring her joy.

Kimberly doesn’t see this as a competition but much rather as a journey in which all of them, together, can make a change and show what is possible.

21 years old Kimberly is all set to represent Austria at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant, where she hopes to get crowned by the reigning Miss Earth Angelia Gabrena Ong.
