On 24th February, the official presentation of the contestants of the competition Miss Earth Russia 2018, a.k.a Krasa Rossii 2018 took place at the restaurant Petersburg in Sochi. From all over the country, 45 girls came to compete for a high title. The final will be held in Sochi on February 28. The winners of the contest "Beauty of Russia" get a chance to represent Russia at the world beauty forums.

On February 24, the semifinal of the contest was held, where the jury will determine their favourites. In the program of the semi-finals, there was a competition in swimsuits, self-presentation and an intellectual stage.

All-Russian beauty contest Miss Earth Russia 2018 was first held in 1995 and since then it has become an annual one. It is the oldest beauty contest, enjoying high popularity both among the common people and among the elite of Russian business.

The girls were also competing for the Miss Multimedia award at this presentation.

The winners of this award, "Miss Multimedia" are: Maria Mironova (Ekaterinburg), second and third place - Alekhina Kristina (Krasnodar Territory) and Elicheva Alexandra (Ivanovo region), Miss Petersburg - Anna Kuznetsova (Kislovodsk)

The annual sold-out at the competition confirms the high level of popularity of the show. The competition has strong advertising support and is widely covered by the most popular TV channels, radio stations and publications in Moscow and Russia.

Competition Miss Earth Russia 2018 is not only a review of the most beautiful girls of the country but also a colourful theatrical show. For all the of the participants, the leading fashion designers of the country specially make new collections.

One of the days before the contest, a charity auction is traditionally held, at which contest participants present souvenirs, handicrafts of their region's crafts. The collected funds are sent to orphanages and hospitals, to the receiver for juvenile offenders, with whom the Directorate of the contest Miss Earth Russia maintains long-term relationships, providing charity assistance and arranging mini-competitions and performances for children with contestants Miss Earth Russia.
