Former Miss Earth Venezuela 2014 Maira Alexandra Rodriguez has been busy shooting for the movie - Mónica Entre el Cielo y Tierra, based on the devastating loss of Miss Venezuela 2004 Monica Spear and her husband in a car robbery.
Miss Venezuela 2004 Monica Spear left us after her life was claimed in a car robbery in 2014. She was on a vacation in Venezuela along with her husband and daughter and the incident caused a huge uproar amongst the Venezuelan citizens.
Just as January marked four years of our former Miss Venezuela’s death, the director of the movie Giovanni Gómez Ysea started the shoot of the movie on 23rd January 2018. Previously, Giovanni was to make a movie with Monica Spear in early January 2014 but unfortunately, the project could not be carried out.
The story starring Miss Earth Venezuela 2014 Maira Alexandra Rodríguez and Juvel Vielma "narrates the events between that international superstar with this humble servant and university professor. The film is going to show a fantastic world, a combination of reality and fantasy, show how two worlds come together, the world of it - the show business - and mine - the academic one - for a common good that was making movies ",revealed Gomez.
Rafael Spear, father of the deceased actress was the creditor of the only copy that existed from the script, and it was he who after a year of flipping through that material, accepted that such a project be carried out.
