Kyle Nicole Hornback, the reigning Miss Louisville USA, has been crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2016 by the outgoing queen, Katie George during the finale held at the Clifton Center in Louisville on Feb 1’ 2016.
She will now represent her state at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA, Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma.

At the same event, Madelynne Myers (Miss Belle of Louisville USA) was adjudged first runner-up, Kelsey White (Miss Williamsburg USA) was titled second runner-up, Katie Himes (Miss Fayette County USA) was named third runner-up, and Ariel Hawkins (Miss Bluegrass USA) finished as fourth runner-up.
Earlier in the evening, Christiaan Prince, 15, of Carter County, was crowned Miss Kentucky Teen USA out of a total of 27 contestants. The event has been in existence since 1952, and the winners will go on to represent Kentucky in the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants.
In the meantime, they will fulfill their duties in the state which includes charitable work.
