At a closed door event held on September 21’ 2015, Paraguay chose its representatives for the Big 4 pageants. Laura Garcete was crowned Miss Paraguay Universe 2015 and will now represent Paraguay at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. She was the first runner-up at the Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2014.
The other winner crowned was Giovanna Cordeiro. Giovanna was crowned Miss World Paraguay 2015 and will now represent Paraguay at the Miss World 2015 pageant. She was the third runner-up at the Miss World Paraguay 2014 and finished as the top 10 finalist at Miss Tourism International 2014. What will also interestingly surprise you is the fact that last year’s Miss World Paraguay Myriam Arevalos, has been chosen as the Miss Earth Paraguay 2015. She recently competed at the Miss United Continents 2015 pageant and was titled as the first runner-up.
And finally, Monica Mariani was titled as Miss International Paraguay 2015. This one holds many pageants under her belt. She has competed in pageants like - Miss Tourism International 2010, Miss America Latina Del Mundo 2011 and Miss Tourism Queen International 2011. The Miss Paraguay pageant that was created in the year 1957 by Guillermo Rolon, decided in the year 2001 that the organisation will not send any representative to the Miss Universe. Since 2004, Nuestra Belleza Paraguay or Miss Universe Paraguay has been sending delegates to Miss Universe.
