Laura always wanted to become a doctor before hosting and beauty pageants came her way. Though she could not complete this dream of hers, she is contributing her bit by getting associated with the ‘Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Centre’s Maternity Ward’ and raising funds for them.
Love for food
This beauty loves eating, but not so much can be said for cooking.
Career so far
She started her career as a courtside reporter in the UAAP Season 77 and 78 for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. In 2015, she became a courtside reporter in the Shakey's V-League in 2015. Later in 2016, she became TV host for ABS-CBN Sports and Action.
A sports lover at heart
She has a special love for sports. Interestingly, she was a member of the national baseball team in her younger years! Also, she played on the Philippine National Team for Fast-Pitch softball. She was supposed to play softball for Ateneo before she decided to pursue tertiary education in the United States.
Love Relationship
She has been in a relationship with the famous basketball player Von Pessumal since 2014. They were both students at the Ateneo de Manila University when they first met. Some also say that their relationship is an ideal jock/ really-beautiful-girl relationship, Von being a sports guy and Laura being a beauty queen.
Loves her independence
She’s known to be a super independent woman, and more mature than the people her age. This mainly comes from her studying abroad and taking care of everything by herself.
Pageant history
Not new to pageant world, Laura joined the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 pageant wherein she was hailed as 1st runner-up.
A model and endorser
Laura has done professional modelling and endorsements on the side while being a reporter. She endorses brands in telecom, hair care, and beverage. She’s managed by prestigious talent agency Backroom Inc., led by media personality Boy Abunda.
