On 25th June, India crowned its representative to the Miss World 2017. The event concluded with the crowning of Haryana girl, Manushi Chhillar who defeated 29 other contestants and has proved that one can beat its own limits. The beauty queen shocked every Indian and especially Haryana people that “Girls are no less than anyone”.

Manushi comes from the family of doctors. She wants to be an aspiring gynecologist. She is pursuing her studies from Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College from Sonepat.

Manushi feels the need of educating people and wants to raise awareness on the hygiene of the country, focusing mainly on the problems related to menstruation cycle.
Trained Kuchipudi Dancer
Right from her childhood, Manushi has been actively participating in all the social activities at her school. She has excelled in Kuchipudi dance form and was trained under famous dancers Raja, Radha and Kaushalya Reddy. Being traditional is a new move.
A product of National school of Drama
