Now, you get a chance to make your opinion matter. Vote for your favourite contestant at the People’s Choice. The specials will be aired on YouTube at 5:30 p.m., this Sunday. Preliminary television specials will also be aired on KUAM TV8 at 5:30 p.m. and on KUAM TV11 at 7:30 p.m. on 2nd October.

The first Miss World title was won by Guam in 1980 when the lucky first runner-up from Guam, Kimberley Santos, was crowned after the German winner resigned from the title. It has been long since Guam has sent a representative to the Miss World, the last being Jeneva Bosko who managed to successfully crawl to the Top 30 finalists in 2012.

This year everyone has high hopes as the Miss World Guam 2016 may get its right representative during the finals on 12th October, when Aria Perez Theisen crowns her successor. The crown queen of the pageant will compete at the Miss World this year.
