The finale of Nuestra Belleza Mexico is slated to be held tonight, and at the conclusion of the pageant Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2016 Kristal Silva will pass on her crown to her successor. The winner of Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2017 will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, to be held later this year.

Contestants from all over Mexico have been shortlisted to compete for the coveted title. The concept of the pageant has been changed into more dynamic for the contestants to appear well before the public, with a strong project in hand. The contestants will now have to meet several challenges, which will prepare them more for the gala finale. 32 finalists are chasing the coveted crown and the prestigious title of NBM 2017.
