Miss Philippines Earth Organisation is making sure to keep the finalists on their toes by lining up different events and activities. The girls are not just attending various events but are also competing through a series of Preliminary Competitions. One such major competition lined up for the girls is the Long Gown Competition, which is scheduled to be held tonight.
During the Long Gown Competition, aka, Evening Gown Competition, the girls will walk the ramp donning their respective evening gowns. The girls will be judged on the basis of their grace, walk and how well they carry the gowns. The swimsuit competition of Miss Philippines Earth 2017, held last week, turned controversial when the girls came on stage covering their face with black veil. The Evening Gown event will start at 6:00pm, and will be streamed live on the Facebook page of Miss Philippines Earth.
Recently, the Trash to Class contest of Miss Philippines Earth 2017 took place, and based on the performance of the girls, the winners for the contest were as follows –
Celine Pangan of Ozamiz City emerged as Gold Medalist. She wore an outfit which was classy as well as creative. Rheena Ferrer of Makati City grabbed Silver, with Marie Sherry Ann Tormes of Mandaluyong City and Klaidel Concepcion of Marikina City sharing the Bronze.
At the same event, a series of Special Awards were also handed out to the following contestants –
