Lydia earlier competed with thirteen (13) other ladies in Miss Kenya 2014 pageant held on October 11’ 2014 at the Carnivore in Nairobi, and was crowned Miss Kenya 2014 getting a straight ticket to Philippines, as she becomes Kenya’s representative at the global platform of the Miss Earth pageant.

In the year 2002 Džejla Glavovic from Bosnia & Herzegovina was crowned Miss Earth 2002 but was dethroned a few months later by the Miss Earth Organization for not fulfilling the duties stipulated in her contract. First runner-up, Winfred Omwakwe from Kenya continued the responsibilities as Miss Earth 2002.
Lydia does have it all to be the second Miss Earth from Kenya and clinch the coveted title of Miss Earth 2014. What do you think?
