María José Maza from Guayaquil has been appointed Miss Earth Ecuador 2014 today by José Delgado, the director of Miss Earth Ecuador, as the national representative to compete in Miss Earth 2014. She is 23 years old, and stands tall at 176cm.
María is a pageant veteran and she had earlier competed in Miss Ecaudor 2011, Miss Bikini International 2011, Miss Panamerican 2013, and Miss Caraibes Hibiscus Ecuador 2013.
She won the title of Miss Bikini Ecuador 2011 in Miss Ecuador 2011, and went on to compete in Miss Bikini International 2011 where she was placed Top 12.
She was also the winner of Miss Panamerican 2013 and the second runner-up at Miss Caraibes Hibiscus Ecuador 2013.
