Maria Perviy has been appointed as Miss Belarus International 2019 and will now represent Belarus in Miss International 2019. Miss International 2019 is the 59th edition of Miss International beauty pageant, the finale whereof is scheduled to be held on November 12th 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. The reigning queen Miss International 2018 - Mariem Velazco of Venezuela - will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event.
Maria, who is 22 years of age, was one of the finalists at Miss Belarus 2018, where she secured a Top 10 placement besides winning the People’ Choice award. She was also the first runner-up at the Miss Bobruisk local pageant, which qualified her to the national contest. The finale of Miss Belarus 2018 was won by Maria Vasilevich who went on to successfully represent Belarus in Miss World 2018 held last year in Sanya, China.

There was, however, no representative from Belarus in Miss International 2018. Belarus was last represented in Miss International in the year 2017 by Polina Pimakhina, who though remained unplaced at the finale of Miss International 2017. Infact, the highest placement achieved by Belarus in Miss International beauty contest was in the year 2007, when Yuliya Sindzeyeva, who was the first ever contestant representing Belarus in Miss International, was adjudged the second runner-up of Miss International 2007. Two years later Yana Supranovich, who represented Belarus in Miss International 2009 secured Top 15 placement at the finale. Ever since then, no other representative from Belarus has managed to secure a placement in Miss International contests.
This year, however, looks very promising for Belarus. Maria is an exceptionally gorgeous Belarusian beauty, who definitely seems to be a strong contender for the title of Miss International 2019. In my view, she will definitely manage to secure a placement in this year’s edition of Miss International 2019 and will start off as one of the favourites to win the coveted title.
