Mariana Rico representing Islas Baleares was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2017 at the finale of the pageant held on 9th July 2017. She is now in Vietnam competing as Spain's representative for the title of Miss Grand International 2017. Mariana is just 17 years of age, stands tall at a towering height of 178 cm, and has impressive body measurements of 37-25-37.

Mariana hails from Venezuela but has been living in Spain since the age of fifteen. She loves to dance and dances flamenco, ballet and classical forms in her free time and she is quite good in it.  Also, she loves to play guitar and sing; and is also taking drama classes.  We witnessed her singing and dancing talent when she mesmerized all with her performance at the welcome ceremony of Miss Grand International 2017 and surprised everyone in her talent video for the pageant.

Besides her artistic talents in singing and dancing, she also loves to play sports like football and volleyball. She gets inspired by reading about historical figures and their achievements. Being an excellent dancer, she aspires to become a professional dancer while pursuing an acting & modeling career.

Born to a Spanish father and Venezuelan mother, Mariana yearns to live with amazing and unforgettable experiences. Her ultimate goal is to live a happy life. When asked about travelling to Vietnam for the coronation night, she said that for her, being herself and having a positive and strong mind frame is the key to her possible win. In her own words, Miss Grand International 2017 is a 'dream come true moment' in her life and she is ready to put her best foot forward to win the coveted title.

Her impressive height and figure, her Venezuelan & Spanish roots, her youthful charm, her artistic talents, her interests in sports, and a photogenic face can propel her to a strong performance in Miss Grand International 2017.

Last year, Spanish representative for Miss Grand International 2016 was Adriana Sánchez Rivas, who made it to the Top 20 finalists at the finale held in Las Vegas on 25th October 2016. Mariana is all set to exceed the achievement of her predecessor.
