Even though Pia Wurtzbach has passed on her crown to the new Miss Universe, Iris Mittenaere, she is still very much in the limelight. After all it is hard to get over her chirpy amicable personality. Pia recently addressed the media at an event for Downy, and talked about her future plans, now that she has passed on her Miss Universe title to Iris Mittenaere. The beauty queen talked about her involvement in Asia's Next Top Model (AsNTM) cycle 5, re-entering showbiz, and her contract with global talent management company IMG.

Talking about her personal life, there were rumours that her boyfriend, Filipino-Swiss race car driver Marlon Stockinger, is already a father. In an interview with the entertainment websites, Wurtzbach said it was the first time she heard the rumours. The beauty queen said, “Are you sure it’s the same Marlon? There’s a lot of Marlons.” She further added, “I don’t know anything about that.”

Wurtzbach and Stockinger started dating in September 2016. Pia has never shied away from talking about her love life, and addressing Marlon she has often been heard saying that he always makes her feel special every day.

During the Downy event, Pia also talked about the ongoing Bb Pilipinas 2017 pageant and suggested few changes that the Organisation can amend this year. According to Pia, the Binibining Pilipinas Organisation should focus more on the Q&A round in context to the changes amended by the Miss Universe Ogranisation. "Now that we've seen the new format of Miss Universe, we know that Q&A is gonna be pretty tough, so you know, I'm excited to see if Binibini will change its format as well, which I think they should," added Pia.
