Jessica Voltolini Vilela, of Ribeirão Preto was crowned Miss Sao Paulo 2015 at the finals held at the Anhembi Convention Center. Jessica will now represent Sao Paulo at the Miss Brazil 2015 pageant. Miss Sao Paulo 2015 marked the 61st edition of the pageant. A total of 30 competitors participated at the contest. Jessica defeated 29 other contestants to make her way to the crown.
Jessica Voltolini 21, dedicated the crown to her family. “I dedicate this victory to my father, because today is his birthday, and my mother, who was Miss Ribeirão Preto in 1991". In an interview with the official website, Jessica expressed, “I was pretty confident, but had strong girls. Looks like I'm dreaming again. I was enjoying every moment with heart and soul. That was my biggest quality.” In addition to the crown and the right to represent Sao Paulo at the Miss Brazil 2015 pageant, Jessica also won a trip to Istanbul.
At the event all the contestants paraded in their respective swimsuit, evening gown and costumes made by designer Alexandre Dutra and jewelry designed by designer Peter Muraro. At the same event, Gabriele Marinho Barbosa from Vineyard was adjudged first runner-up and Beatriz Patrony Loesch from Rio Claro was titled as the second runner-up. Fernanda Roberta Leme Miss Sao Paulo 2014 passed on her crown and her reign to Jessica Voltolini at the end of the event.
