The 21 year old Maureen Montagne was crowned Miss Arizona USA 2015 by her successor Jordan Wessel at the Mesa Arts Center. Montagne is a model by profession and has studied interdisciplinary studies at Arizona State University. Montagne is not new to the pageant world and has been bitten a prey to the pageant bug. In 2013 Maureen was placed as first runner up at the 2013 Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant and was also awarded with the Mutya ng IVI Collagen award. She was also Third Princess in the 2013 Miss Asia Arizona.

When Maureen started her pageantry journey she barely had any pageant experience compared to her competitors who were a veteran at the contest. Yet she managed to shin out bright with her outstanding performance. Her experience in the initial pageant only help her mould herself into a better personality and into a queen equipped with pageant knowledge and improved skills that put her where she is now.

Montagne is already gaining popularity among the masses and is becoming the crowds’ favourite. If Montagne gets crowned as Miss USA, she will not only represent USA at the prestigious title of Miss Universe 2015 but will also become the second Arizona contestant to hold the national title. Miss Arizona USA 1980 Jineane Ford became Miss USA when Miss USA Shawn Weatherly gave up the crown to become Miss Universe. Montagne is the fifth resident of Chandler, Arizona to hold the state crown. Previous Miss Arizona USA titleholders from Chandler include Miss Arizona USA 2010 Brittany Bell, Miss Arizona USA 2006 Brenna Sakas, Miss Arizona USA 2004 Danielle Demski, and Miss Arizona USA 1999 Cara Jackson.

Winning the title of Miss Arizona USA pageant has made Montagne eligible for several prizes, scholarships and opportunities. Scholarship opportunities include Grand Canyon University and Lindenwood University.
