Taryn Morris
25 years old Taryn Morris hailing from Camps Bay, in Cape Town, studied BCom marketing at Varsity College through UNISA and is a part time model. After completing her graduation, Taryn knew she wanted to go into marketing at fashion industry. Currently, she is working for a fashion distribution company as their brand manager and marketing co-ordinator.
Taryn is close to her mom and share a friendly bond with her. Her mom is an entrepreneur who runs her own business as a clothing and accessories agent, and also has her helicopter pilot's license. Talking about her Dad, Taryn says, “My dad lives in Australia but we are closer than most children who see their fathers every day.” Taryn’s dad is also into the fahion industry and runs a holding company in Australia.
?In her spare time, Taryn loves to spend time with her family and friends. She is the typical Capetownian who loves beaches. She enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends and loves trying different dishes. Taryn defines herself as a big time music lover, and on a lazy day she would listen to some nice music or relax and enjoy a movie. She finds peace and harmony when on a long walk with her Dog. Taryn aspires to be the next Miss South Africa as she thinks it is an ideal platform to be able to represent her country in the best way possible. “I value the fact that it would allow me to truly make a difference in South Africa. I believe I have what it takes as I am determined, compassionate, well-educated and a strong independent woman with a big personality who’s not afraid to speak her mind. I believe that inner beauty is as important and I would find it extremely fulfilling to be able to influence my country in a positive way, and to help those in need and to inspire other South Africans to do the same. It would be an honour for me to represent the Miss South Africa and Sun International brand and everything it stands for.”
