Miss Thailand World 2015 is on the road to finale which is scheduled to be held on August 15’ 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. The winner of Miss Thailand World 2015 will represent Thailand at the Miss World 2015 pageant. One unique concept about the pageant is that, the runner-up/ semi finalist with Chinese ancestry will go on to Miss Chinese International 2015 pageant.
This year a total of 25 contestants were selected for Miss Thailand World 2015, three of them however withdrew due to personal reasons. The remaining 22 will now be competing against each other for the crown of Miss Thailand World 2015. The reigning Miss Thailand World is Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng . Maeya represented Thailand at the Miss World 2014 pageant and was among the Top 11 finalists of Miss World 2014 via People’s Choice Award. The highest placement of Thailand at Miss World was in the year 1989, when Prathumrat Woramali was titled as the third Runner-up. Till date, Thailand has managed two titles for continental queens in the year 11989 and 1992.
