Cook Islands has started its search for the representative who will compete at Miss World 2017 pageant. 10 beautiful girls are competing for the coveted crown of Miss Cook Islands 2017, and the girls were recently introduced to the media at a ceremony held at Ngatipa, residence of the New Zealand High Commissioner.
The 10 lovely young women vying for the Miss Cook Islands crown had what for some was their first large scale public engagement when they were formally introduced at a function at Ngatipa, residence of the New Zealand High Commissioner, on Thursday night. The event attracted a large crowd of people who cheered and supported their favourites for the title this year.

Miss Cook Islands Association president Dianna Clarke outlined the success of previous Miss Cook Islands contests, making special mention of the outstanding work done by the current Miss Cook Islands, Natalia Short and Miss Earth Cook Islands, Alannah Herman-Edgar.
Miss Cook Islands 2017 contestants were all dressed in beautiful 'Pacific Islands Art' dresses which were a culmination of motifs and colours of the Pacific Islands. The contestants chose their colours from a wide range of options. The colours reflected their style and personalities.
