Femina Miss India 2017 has already kicked off with full vigor and zeal. Delegates from different states have already reached to the city of dreams, Mumbai for the various events and activities, lined up for them in order to train them for the gala night 2017.
So we have someone from everyone’s favorite land famous for its large variety of orchids, Meghalaya.
Kiran Laishram emerged victorious in the first leg of Miss India 2017 auditions from the North East zone at City Square in Guwahati, Assam. Kiran will now represent Meghalaya at 54th Femina Miss India pageant where Priyadarshini Chatterjee, Femina Miss India 2016 winner will crown her successor.
She remains to be old-school in terms of games or modern day apps. She swears to not be a fan of a gaming console and has absolutely no idea what these mobile games look like, let alone ever having played angry birds, candy crush or Pokemon Go. Adventure runs through her veins, she is a total adrenaline junkie. Loyalty is utmost important to her. In fact, her favorites in terms of movies, songs or people have remained constant over the years.
Also, you cannot ask her to keep calm. She is a chatter box and tends to talk in one breath when excited. If having OCD is a crime, then she wouldn’t mind going behind bars. This diva from Meghalaya takes numbering way too seriously. For some mysterious reasons, she prefers odd numbers over even. Interesting, indeed!
Kiran Laishram is not a new face to pageantry and has previously participated in Miss Queen of India 2016 and now hopes to be India in the coming edition of Miss World pageant.
