Dominican Republic is on the way to crowning its Miss World representative. Yes, you heard that right, Miss Mundo Dominicana 2016 is on the road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on June 18’ 2016.

Miss Mundo Dominicana (or Reina Nacional de Belleza Republica Dominicana or Miss World Dominican Republic) is an annual national beauty pageant organized by Reina Nacional de Belleza that selects the representatives from Dominican Republic to compete at Miss World and Miss International pageants. Diany Mota is the Director General of Reina Nacional De Belleza.

23 gorgeous finalists from all over Dominican Republic have been shortlisted to compete for the prestigious crown of Miss Mundo Dominicana 2016. The finale of Miss Mundo Dominicana will be held at Teatro La Fiesta of the Hotel Jaragua, and will be televised live on Telemicro and Telemicro International.

This year the Miss Mundo Dominicana pageant will focus more on social issues and causes, wherein the contestants will raise the issue of preventing violence against women. The 23 finalists of Miss Mundo Dominicana 2016 are -
