Mexicana Universal 2018 just entered its third week with two more elimination from the official Top 16 contestants. The weekend gala showcased the announcement of the official Top 14 candidates who moved forward to the third week.

Mexicana Universal 2017 Denisse Franco is going to crown her successor at the end of the event finale on 27th May 2018. The winner will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2018.

The third gala saw the divas representing their own selves with passion and vigor. From their black cocktail dresses to their flowing evening gowns, the night did not disappoint its viewers at all. The 16 contestants also paraded in their traditional costumes as well as the swimsuits.

Unfortunately, two more beauties were eliminated this week; Mexicana Universal Baja California Sur 2017 Juliana Martinez and Mexicana Universal Nuevo Leon 2017 Andrea Merodio both had to bid their goodbyes to their dream of becoming Mexicana Universal 2018.
