Dorothy Nathaly Sutherland Barragán successfully won the crown of Mexicana Universal Jalisco 2018 at the finale of the competition which was held on 14th November 2018 at the Diana Theatre.  Dorothy was crowned by the director of Mexicana Universal and Miss Universe 1991 Lupita Jones, who welcomed her on the adventurous journey of representing Jalisco.

The young gorgeous diva is native of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. She is currently a student and pursuing her studies in International Commerce and Customs. The generous Dorothy aims to develop a foundation that addresses cancer in the vulnerable population of Mexico. This life-threatening disease takes its toll on many lives in Mexico annually. One of the main reasons behind her noble initiative arises from the fact that her own father is precisely fighting the battle of cancer. At such a young age she possesses empathy, kindness and has the knowledge of her responsibilities.

She carries the knowledge that requires being a delegate for Mexicana Universal. She knows that it is significant to find an emotional, mental and spiritual balance while carrying out her duties and the activities that the title of Mexicana Universal Jalisco 2018 entails.

The 20-year-old looked absolutely ethereal in her shimmery silver gown at the gala night of Mexicana Universal 2018. She appeared both confident and graceful while showcasing her runway skill and won many hearts. The beauty presented herself with such élan that she stood out the most from other contestants.

Talking about her appearance, Dorothy is a true exemplar of natural beauty. She stands tall with a staggering height of 183 cm and is blessed with a beautiful body.
