Wendolin Esmeralda Chávez Martínez was crowned Mexicana Universal Durango 2018 on 2nd October 2019 in City Museum, Durango by the outgoing queen Mexicana Universal Durango 2017 Idaly Ayala Anaya with the expectations from her take over the responsibilities and advocacies and make her province proud. Thus, she became the official representative of Durango in Mexicana Universal 2019.
The beautiful diva is 24 years of age and originally hails from Santiago Papasquiaro. Talking about her academics, she holds up a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from a reputed college. The gorgeous beauty is no stranger to the beauty pageant world as prior to winning Mexicana Universal Durango 2018, she competed in the contest of Miss Perla del Guadiana 2017 in her native Durango and there she was adjudged the 3rd finalist (Ambassador) in the finale.
