The organization of Mexicana Universal took to their social media to announce Débora Hallal Ayala as the new Mexicana Universal 2021 and will represent Mexico at the 70th edition of Miss Universe. Debora has succeeded Miss Universe Mexico 2020 Andrea Meza, who was crowned Miss Universe 2020 on 16th May 2021 in the United States.
The announcement read, "We are very happy to announce and confirm that our beautiful Mexicana Universal Sinaloa is the one designated to represent our country in Miss Universe 2021. Congratulations Debora Hallal! We know that you will do an excellent job. " The diva is excited about taking over the duties as Miss Universe Mexico 2021 and start preparing herself for the competition as she has big shoes to fill in with Andrea being crowned Miss Universe 2020.
Debora is 24-years-old and stands 179 cm tall. She has a degree in Business Administration and an advanced level of English is focused on altruistic actions, actively participating in civil association and with the Sinaloan youth. She is the creator of the project called, ‘A Purpose’, in which she explained that she visits marginalized communities to provide all kinds of primary assistance.
Débora is extremely passionate about things in life and seeks to replicate her project to other communities and inspire young people to be agents of change and take action to help. She is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Universe Mexico 2020. She previously competed in and won the title of Miss Teen World Sinaloa 2016 before going on to win Miss Teen World Mexico 2016. She went on to represent Mexico at Miss Teen World 2016, where she was placed in the Top 15 despite failing to win the crown. Débora has also participated in Mexicana Universal Sinaloa 2018 where she was placed in the Top 5 category.
The beauty queen is strong, confident, and determined to win back-to-back titles for Mexico, and she has begun preparing for the competition. She is thankful to the organization for recognizing her determination and dedication towards the crown. She will be working on her skills and abilities to ace them before the competition and make a good impression on the audience along with the judges of Miss Universe 2021. She strongly believes that she will be able to make the people of Mexico proud, just like her predecessor, Andrea Meza.
With her experience, focus, and optimistic nature, Debora can be a strong contender at Miss Universe 2021 and might even make a back-to-back win happen for Mexico.
Congratulations queen!
