Yessica Olvera was crowned Mexicana Universal Tlaxcala 2019 on 23rd January 2020 as she will represent the state at Mexicana Universal 2020. The diva is 21 years of age stands 169 cm tall. The diva who is originated from Puebla, performed with grace and eloquence as she gave her best at the stage of the national pageant.

The diva also expressed her feelings through media while she quoted, “23-January-2020 - A date I will never forget; Since I was little, I dreamed of this moment and always had the idea of ??representing my state in the most important event. Yesterday during the presentation of the casting, I enjoyed the moment so much, I gave my heart on stage; it was hours, days and months of preparation and sacrifices in which they were totally worth it. Today with great pride and excitement I carry the band of MxU Tlaxcala, I will give my best, with preparation, discipline and passion for this dream. Thank you very much to all the people who supported me from the beginning and gave me their love; but above all, thank you very much to the organization of Mexicana Universal for believing in me, I promise to stop my State and not fail you. Thank you very much everyone!”.

Mexicana Universal 2020 will be the 3rd edition of the Mexicana Universal pageant. Thirty-two candidates from all over the Mexican Republic compete for the national title. Sofía Aragón of Jalisco will crown her successor at end of the event. the winner will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
