After a successful stint at Miss Environment International 2022 in India, Michelle Arceo is all set to join Binibining Pilipinas 2022 as she was seen getting ready to file the application for the national pageant. The deadline for filling out Binibining Pilipinas 2022 applications closes today.

Michelle Arceo finished as the first runner-up at the Miss Environment International 2022 finals held in India on 2nd April 2022. Not new to the pageantry, Arceo won the “Gandang Filipina” competition of the GMA 7 show Wowowin in 2017.

In 2019, Arceo represented Eastern Samar at Miss World Philippines 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City where she competed against 39 other candidates and finished in the Top 10. So, Michelle definitely has the experience as well to establish herself as a strong contestant.

At Miss Environment International 2022, Michelle gave a stellar performance. After returning, she humbly thanked everyone for all the support. She wrote, “To everyone who made this journey possible. Thank you for filling my heart with so much love and support. I am so proud to have carried the Philippine sash across my heart and raise our flag on the international stage. I know I gave my absolute all and I promise I will work even harder next time! I’m not quitting here. If one door closes another will open.”

“Thank you to my core team for making me into the queen I am today. Without each and every one of you, I couldn’t have succeeded. It truly takes a village to create a queen. You all hold a dear place in my heart and have molded me to be at my most confident and beautiful self. Thank you to my fairy god mothers and also my friends and family that have been my backbone. My heart is strong because of you guys. I love you all”, she added.

Arceo’s father is American while her mother is Filipino making her of mixed heritage. Michelle is also fluent and has strong communication skills which will benefit her in moving forward, if she becomes the official delegate at Binibining Pilipinas 2022.
