Hannah McMurphy crowned Miss Alabama USA 2019 for Miss USA 2019

Miss Alabama USA 2019 held their grand finale on 17th November 2018 and the conclusion of the event saw the crowning of Hannah McMurphy who has now earned the right to represent Alabama in Miss USA 2019 to be held next year. She now has a chance to become the national winner and represent the USA in Miss Universe 2019.

Miss Indian Hills USA 2019, Hannah, defeated 36 other candidates to take the crown home. She is 20 years of age from the city of Tuscaloosa. This year was Hannah’s fourth try for the title of state representative. Her hard work and dedication finally paid off as she proceeded to Miss USA 2019.

Hannah is a student at the University of Alabama, from where she will graduate in the year 2020. She is a model and no stranger to the pageant world as she participated in Miss Alabama Collegiate in the year 2016 and Miss Utah Collegiate America in the year 2017, where she won.

The other finalists in the Top 5 of Miss Alabama USA 2019 were Taylor Jones of Stillwaters, Brennen Cooke of North Shelby County, Kali Sturgis from Magic City and BayleyAlbinger from Greater Mobile. The event also saw the crowning of Miss Alabama Teen USA 2019 Kalin Burt, who is going to represent Alabama in Miss Teen USA 2019 next year.

Hannah took to her social media account to announce her win and wrote, “It is official. I am your Miss Alabama USA 2019! This will forever be one of the greatest moments of my life. I am still in complete shock and keep expecting to be woken from this beautiful dream. My heart is filled with nothing but pure joy and optimism about this upcoming year. Thank you to everyone that has sent me kind words of encouragement. We did it.

Hannah is beautiful, smart and humble. She has all the makings of a true beauty queen and therefore will definitely make a mark in the finale of Miss USA 2019.
