Aurélie Roux crowned Miss Alsace 2020

Miss Alsace 2020 finale was held on 4th September 2020 in Camille-Claus center in Eschau where Aurélie Roux was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Alsace in Miss France 2021. She succeeds Miss Alsace 2019 Laura Théodori.

Aurélie Roux is 24 years of age and hails from Spechbach-le-Bas dans in Haut-Rhin. She bested 17 other contestants to win the crown. Born of an Alsatian father and a West Indian mother, Roux stands 172 cm tall. She is a laboratory technician by profession.

Not her first stint in the competition, more than five years ago, in May 2015 in Ribeauvillé, the curly haired beauty applied for the election of Miss Haut-Rhin with straight blond hair! "It's recently that I went natural with my hair. I relaxed them for a long time and seeing that the Afros are more assumed now, it helped me take the plunge”, she said in a report.

The newly crowned Miss Alsace 2020 Aure´lie Roux’s court included –

First runner-up: Elise Kury

Second runner-up: Sarah Moritz

Third runner-up: Lolita Colling

The president of the jury, the entrepreneur Eddy Vingataramin offeered the winner, a week of internship at Cours Florent, an acting school in Paris, announces Véra Bosniak, among the long list of gifts offered to the lucky one elected by the partners of the evening.
