Miss Angola 2018 just held its official press presentation to introduce the nineteen candidates who will be competing for the national title on 29th June 2018. To grace the occasion, Miss Angola 2017 Lauriela Martins was also present at the event to welcome the beautiful divas. She will also crown her successor at the finale of Miss Angola 2018.

Lauriela Martins represented Angola at Miss Universe 2017 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 16 at the final competition. The national pageant, founded in 1997, sent its representatives to Miss Universe and Miss World till 2013. Began 2013, Miss Angola only sends a representative to Miss Universe pageant.
