Sherine Hossni from Morocco crowned Miss Arab World 2018

On Saturday, the coronation night of Miss Arab World 2018 took place at Movenpick 6 of October City, Cairo, Egypt where Sherine Hossni from Morocco was declared the winner and was crowned. She succeeds and was crowned by Nisrine Noubir Miss Arab World 2017.

Sherine is 23 year of age and is from Morocco. A young woman and a student, she is from Tafraout, a town in Tiznit province. The young Moroccan prevailed in the beauty contest against 16 participants from all over the Arab world. She qualified in advance as a Moroccan participant, as Sherine Hossni had won in late November in Ouarzazate the Moroccan preliminary competition.

The jury committee of the competition was prominently cast. In addition to Egyptian and Jury leader Hanane Nasr, Moroccan artists Abdelali El Ghaoui and Nezha Chaaboui, Moroccan actress Amal Benzakour, Egyptian artist Mohammed Nour, Kuwaiti television presenter Halimeh Boland and representatives of the cultural department of the Egyptian Embassy in Italy were members of the jury.

First runner-up - Algerian Rania Ben Ichouch

Second runner-up - Bahrinie Faouzia Abderrida

Third runner-up - Emirati Fatim Chamssi

Fourth runner-up – Sudanese Ghofrane Ismail

A special award called Miss Middle East / Syria was also declared and it went out to Farah Haddad from Iraq.
