Stephanie Barber crowned Miss Arkansas USA 2021 for Miss USA 2021

Miss Arkansas USA 2021, the 70th edition of Miss Arkansas USA, coronation night took place at the Fort Smith Convention Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas on 23rd May 2021 where Stephanie Barber was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Arkansas at Miss USA 2021. Barber succeeds and was crowned by Miss Arkansas USA 2020 Haley Pontius.

Stephanie bested 21 other contestants to win the state crown. In 2017, Barber received her high school diploma from Denton Calvary Academy in Denton, Texas. In 2021, she graduated from the University of Arkansas with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science. From 2016 to 2017, she reigned as Miss Dallas Teen USA.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss Arkansas USA 2021 Stephanie Barber’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Jasmine Bruce

2nd Runner-up – Teresa Fletchinger

3rd Runner-up – Mackenzie Hinderberger

4th Runner-up – Caroline Adair

The final leg of the competition had twelve finalists vying for the crown which included Jacey Winn, Emily Edwards, Bradi Young, Brooke Cornelius, Rylie Wagner, Lauren Everett and Sakiya Hearns along with the winner and her court.

Apart from Barber being crowned Miss Arkansas USA 2021, Madeline Bohlman was crowned Miss Arkansas Teen USA 2021 and became the official delegate at Miss Teen USA 2021. Phoebe Harris, Kory Lynn Jennings, Camryn Freeman and Allie Shanks were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.

 

 

Representing Arkansas in Miss USA, Margaret Haywood was first runner-up in 1955, Nancy McCollum was second runner-up in 1956 and Savannah Skidmore finished in the Top 5 in 2019. In 1982, Terri Utley became the first ever Miss USA from Arkansas.
