The finale of Miss Asia 2015, which was held on August 18’ 2015 in Cochin, India, crowned Kanika Kapur from India as the winner of Miss Asia 2015. Kanika Kapur becomes the very first winner of the newly established beauty pageant, conducted by Ajit Ravi Pegasus.The pageant claims to be one of the very few pageants that do not judge a woman’s beauty with a bikini or any other similar rounds. The mission of this newborn pageant is to save 100 lives by conducting heart surgeries for people in need under Ajit Ravi’s 100 Life challenge mission. This pageant is different from Miss Asia Pacific World pageant.
20 years old Kanika Kapur, stands tall at a towering height of 5’6 and is a student of journalism and mass communication. The beauty queen has another loop to her belt with the title of Miss Asia 2015. She was Miss Mood Indigo 2013, Femina Style Diva North 2014, and Manappuram Miss Queen of India 2015, to name a few. Kanika loves travelling, reading and has an inclined interest towards theatre. She likes to spend her spare time indulging in swimming and inspiring people to achieve more and better in life.
The second place went to Miss Philippines Alfe Marie Nathanile Yu and third place went to Miss Azerbaijan Jeyla Guliyeva. Manappuram Finance Ltd. is the main sponsor of the event. The pageant invited applicants in the age range of 18-30 and with height equal to or greater than 5 feet 6 inches. The big favorite for the pageant Miss Tibet Tenzin Yangzom could not place in Top 3. At the same event, Ms Alfe Marie Nathanile (Philippines) was adjudged first runnrer-up and Ms.Jeyla Guliyeva (Azerbaijan) was adjudged second runner-up. The other special award winners are -

The three hour show that ended at 11PM was full of anxiety and pleasure. The pageant was judged by Ms. Larysa Sergiienko, International Model, Ms. Natasha Suri, Indian Supermodel, Mr. Sohan Roy, Director, Ms. Ambika, Actress & Ms. Sumudhu Prasadini, Miss Srilanka World. The three tier round of the finals comprised of national costume round, theme round – Black and White Gown. The title winner won five Lakh rupees, the first runner up with two Lakh rupees and second runner up with one Lakh rupee gifted by Manappuram Group.
