Yari Marcano crowned Miss Asia Pacific International Dominican Republic 2021

The organization Misses Of Dominican Republic, led by experts in beauty queens Jorge Cruz and Alejandro Martínez, crowned the new sovereigns of national beauty, in the first edition of the beauty pageant on 3rd October 2021 at the Barceló Bavaro Grand Resort in Punta Cana. Out of the 26 candidates who competed for the titles, Yari Marcano was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International Dominican Republic 2021 as she succeeded Miss Asia Pacific International Dominican Republic 2020 Maria Felix for the title.

The contest, which was carried out for a week complying with all biosafety protocols, was held from the prestigious facilities of the Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort complex where the candidates demonstrated the test of talent, swimsuits and elegance.

After winning the title, Yari took to her social media to share, “I feel extremely grateful and blessed for this opportunity, to be able to represent my country DOMINICAN REPUBLIC in style, Thank you God for everything, thank my family and friends for all the support, thank you to the organization and director for always believing in me, thank you Misses of Dominican Republic for this opportunity I am very happy to be part of this family.”

“Grateful for all the love and support received, thank you for your nice messages and wishes, I will continue to work hard to proudly represent the Dominican Republic,” she added. She is strong, confident and excited to take over her crown duties and represent her country at Miss Asia Pacific International 2021 pageant, to be held in Philippines.

Miss Asia Pacific International organization, owing to the rampant spread of covid-19 and regulations made due to it, had made the decision of further postponing the previous edition to keep the safety of delegates as the ultimate priority. Yari Marcano has been crowned to represent the country at the upcoming edition of Miss Asia Pacific International.
