Miss Bahamas 2018 is all set to organize its grand finale on 27th May 2018 at Imperial Ballroom – Atlantis in Paradise Island. 10 contestants will be competing for the national crown where Geena Thompson will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The winner of Miss World Bahamas 2018 will represent the Bahamas at Miss World 2018 where Manushi Chhillar will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

But before that, Lets know more about these 10 finalists in a series of features.

The 23-year-old Angel Cartwright is the official representative of Long Island at Miss Bahamas 2018. As a child, fishing, snorkeling and boating were Angel’s favourite things to do being an Island girl.

Angel was also elected to represent the views of young Bahamians at the 10th Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) which was created with the assistance of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).

For her Beauty with a Purpose advocacy, Angel wishes to spread awareness about Autism and how it really affects the people who suffer from it. She wishes to sensitize the people about its causes and symptoms and also treat the patients with utmost patience and care.

As the competition has begun its preliminaries, Angel has been performing quite well. She was also announced Top 3 at National Costume Competition which was held two days ago. With such high qualifications, Angel is surely going to do really well moving forward as well.
