Philippines is all over the world of beauty pageants, conquering all the pageant and marking their victory. The country wins another pageant, this time a pageant for dolls. A Filipino made doll, Shawnah Bautista Vasquez, was crowned Miss Beauty Doll 2016.

Shawnah’s biography describes her as 23-year-old from Angeles City. She is a professional model, a home cook, and journalism graduate," and is also a "prolific blogger" who writes about her work as a model. The crown that Shawnah won was made of red ruby and diamonds designed by Chatiara, and valued at $1000.

At the same pageant, Vietnam's Dang Thuy Nam was titled first runner-up, Puerto Rico's Denise Marrie Torres was adjudged second runner-up, Dominican Republic's Cinthya Santos was named third runner-up, and India's Isha Narayan Kalpana finished as fourth runner-up.
The maker of the doll, Shawnah Bautista Vasquez, thanked all the supporters and said, "My inbox and notification is so full of your celebratory messages, and I am touched to know that you did wait for the results no matter how late it was and shared with me the tension of anticipating the winner."
