Miss Earth Netherlands 2017 Faith Landman will soon crown a new Miss Earth Netherlands 2018 (Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2018) queen. The newly crowned queen will then represent the Netherlands at the Miss Earth 2018 Pageant where Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco will crown her successor.
But before the grand coronation night of the Miss Earth Netherlands pageant concludes, it’s important for us to get to know the finalists that will be fighting for the Earth crown of Netherlands.
Of all the contestants, we chose 5 that we believe are the ones standing out in the race to the crown currently, and here is the scoop on one of our favourites.
Julya de Goede is a 19-year-old from Almere. She is currently studying communication at HBO and works at 21Toolkit. She teaches children about technology and innovation. In addition to her work at 21Toolkit, she is also a full-time model at NINA Agency and thus regularly stand in front of the camera.
On winning the title of Miss Earth Flevoland 2018, Julya could not believe it and became very emotional. She started the competition with two friends who were also crowned during the finals.
On being asked what she wanted to achieve from the Miss Earth Netherlands 2018 elections, Julya says, “I feel honored to be able to represent my province of Flevoland during the national final of Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. I want to show people how beautiful and special our province is. I would like to develop further along the way and I hope that this election opens new doors for me.”
Julya’s idea of leisure time is travelling, preferably with my friend. She says that she wants to see as much of the world as possible. Besides traveling, she loves animals and often heads to the forest with her dog.

She is half Dutch and half Indian. Being a child of two different cultures she learnt a lot of both. In addition, she is a passionate person and likes to help people. She has been playing hockey at a high level for 12 years and has learned how important it is to perform well every day and get the best out of oneself. She has stopped playing hockey now but you can bump into her regularly at the gym.
The Miss Earth Netherlands 2018 gala will be held at Studio 21 in Hilversum on 31st August 2018. The coronation has previously been held at the World Hotel Wings for two years, but, due to the increase in the audiences that the pageant hosted, the venue has been changed to fulfill the increased seat requirements.
