At the grand coronation night of Miss Belgium 2019 held hours ago at the Plopsa Theater in De Panne, Elena Castro Suarez was crowned the new queen. She will either represent Belgium in Miss World 2019 or Miss Universe 2019.
Elena is of Spanish origin and is based in Belgium. Not new to the pageantry, she was 2nd runner up Miss Antwerp where she gained the right to represent Antwerp in Miss Belgium 2019. The gorgeous beauty definitely performed with elegance and dedication to win the national crown. The newly crowned queen’s court included –
First Runner-Up - Elodie Duchesne
Second Runner-Up - Aline Elsermans
Aside from the winner and her court, the Top 5 comprised of Michelle Vermeersch and Melissa Ghysels. Thirty divas competed for the right to represent Belgium in Miss World 2019 and Miss Universe 2019. From the national pageant, the winner usually gets to decide the pageant of her choice for representation, that means Elena will choose which pageant to compete in and if the dates clash, the first runner-up will be sent to the other pageant.
The national competition was no doubt a grand affair as the finale witnessed amazing performances from not just the delegates but the entertainers and artists as well. Miss Belgium definitely got a new queen who is deserving of all the praises and glory.
