Miss Belgium is one of the prestigious beauty pageants of Belgium as it hand-picks the potential divas who can become the representative of the country in three of the Big four international pageants wherein the winner of the pageant represents the country in Miss Universe, first runner-up in Miss World and second runner-up in Miss International. The pageant takes place annually and this year’s edition already took place on 12th January 2019, where Elena Castro Suarez was crowned the new queen and the country’s representative to Miss Universe 2019 pageant.

The reigning beauty Elena is yet to represent the country in any three of the big four international pageants. However, the organization unveiled on its official Facebook account that the search for next Miss Belgium 2020 has commenced. The organization is currently accepting the applications and one can go to the official website of the pageant and sign up to apply.

In order to roll the journey of Miss Belgium 2020, one must meet the eligibility criterion stated below –

Candidate should be of Belgian nationality

Candidate should be unmarried and without children

Candidate should be more than 18 years, but less than 23 years

The winner of the pageant will succeed the outgoing queen Miss Belgium 2019 Elena Castro Suarez and will be handed over the crown by her.
