The reigning Miss Bolivia Universo, Paula Schneider has issued an official statement, stating her resignation from the title of Miss Universe Bolivia. The reason behind this decision is not clear and according to Paula the decision has been taken due to personal reasons. The beauty queen, in her statement said,
“Dear Village and Santa Cruz, Bolivia. I am writing to you to inform you that I've decided to give up my titles of miss Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and miss universe 2015, which thanks to you I won. This also means that I'm not gonna represent our country in the miss universe 2016. This decision I take it very personal issues. I have the mixed feelings, because I love my people and I felt very proud to have won the crown of miss Bolivia Universe, which is why I'll always be very grateful to you all, my beautiful people.
I close a chapter in my life and I open another, very different. I'm very well, I'm leaving the country for a long time, but you'll always be in my heart. Thank you for all the love that was given to me, that was for me the most important thing, I'll never forget his love. Really, thank you so much, I lived a beautiful time that I will never forget, but everything that starts and ends my reign ended. I reiterate, thanks a million for all the love received from you guys.”
Gloria Productions, the organisation, confirmed the news and reported that this year a new queen will be elected. The organisation posted on their social media and stated, “Promociones Gloria informs the public that Ms. Paula Schneider Aguilera cannot fulfil its commitments as Miss Bolivia due to strictly personal and private reasons, so our company had made the decision to cancel her portrayal of Miss Bolivia 2015 ".
The organizer of Miss Bolivia further indicated that "the next Miss Bolivia Universe, who will represent us in the international beauty contest will be elected this year as part of a new beauty contest".
The 21 years old beauty revealed in her statement that she will be taking a trip abroad without giving out any further explanations.
